Case Study: Sushi Hub

About the Client:

This case study explores why and how Sushi Hub uses Cybercast Digital Signage throughout their network of shops for its centralised display of promotional offers to communicate, engage and interact with their valued customers.

Sushi Hub opened its first store on 16th October 2004 in an alleyway in Cabramatta, NSW, and now have more than 120 stores operating in Australia. Sushi Hub constantly works to deliver the freshest, top-quality sushi to customers. Sushi Hub products are sources locally and delivered daily to ensure the best quality.

The Need: 

A major priority for Sushi Hub was to save cost by replacing their printed posters sent out to stores and to ensure accuracy throughout their promotions. Posters were slow to deploy and extremely expensive, limiting the number of campaigns they could afford to run with messages getting outdated quickly. Without a centralised control over the marketing collateral and deployment, HQ could not control the content displayed.

The Solution:

After evaluating several solutions, Sushi Hub selected Cybercast for a pilot test to see if it will fulfil their needs, and Cybercast has exceeded their expectations. Shortly after a successful pilot period, screens were installed in all shops across Australia. Cybercast was able to offer a wide range of screens to meet a variety of customer engagement objectives and to retro fit some unique store layouts.

In-Store Digital Promotion Displays:

The screens deployed included 16” slim line displays for compelling content, capacitive touch displays for customer interaction and robust commercial 4K displays to run all day, 7 days a week. Additionally, all Cybercast displays arrive pre-configured and paired, allowing content to be published instantly with our ‘Plug-and-Play’ solution.

Currently, Sushi Hub uses Cybercast to display images and videos for seasonal promotions with promotional content that engages and entertains customers, assisting in boosting sales.

How it Works: 

All screens are synced centrally and allows management from one point, content can be uploaded anytime, from anywhere. Local branches and individual displays at specific locations can also be set to display unique content for ad-hoc promotions, events etc. The content on the screens helps stimulate impulse purchases; providing them with entertainment while they wait to order.

With screens for all outlets synced centrally, Sushi hub is able to push out content easily where and whenever required, increasing revenue and reducing operational costs.
